Planet Happiness

Planet Happiness is a brand-new immersive exhibition created in collaboration with prestigious partners such as ESA, EUMETSAT & BELSPO and with the devotion of a handful of experts. The goal is to inspire, educate and engage a broad audience about (EU) space (activity) by combining cutting-edge technology, scientific knowledge and unbridled creativity.

Planet Happiness takes place at the majestic Palais de la Dynastie, made exclusively available by Régie des Bâtiments under the authority of Secretary of State Mathieu Michel.

ESA

The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe’s gateway to space. Established in 1975, ESA is dedicated to the peaceful exploration and use of space for the benefit of humankind. Its mission is to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world. Together with 22 Member States it pushes the frontiers of science and technology, and promotes economic growth in Europe. Space is the future and through ESA we are all part of it.

EUMETSAT

EUMETSAT is the European operational satellite agency for monitoring weather, climate and the environment from space. The intergovernmental organisation based in Darmstadt, Germany operates a system of meteorological satellites to observe the atmosphere and ocean and land surfaces – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The data and products from EUMETSAT's satellites are vital to weather forecasting and make a significant contribution to the monitoring of the environment and climate change. EUMETSAT carries out these tasks in cooperation with ESA.

BELSPO

The Belgian Science Policy (BELSPO) is one of the main actors of scientific research in Belgium. It brings together many prestigious research programs and manages 10 Federal Scientific Institutes by offering not only exceptional environment and research materials for scientists but also world-class artistic and historical collections.
